Granny Square Sunday #8

Ok, it’s no longer Sunday, in fact it’s Tuesday ~ ooops!

Please meet Lacy Cross, number 8 in the Miscellaneous Granny Square Collection.

This was one of the trial granny squares for my mother’s Spring Blanket. In fact, we nearly decided to do half Lacy Cross / half Willow, (see yesterday’s post). But then we decided it was just too much pink, so Lacy Cross has been added to the Miscellaneous Granny Square Collection.

  1. I like this cross….would love to make it. Where can i get the pattern? I am interestec in Chrjstian anx Irish granny squares.

  2. i have this very same book but despite the fact hat its meant to be a simple one crochet hook rating of difficulty i cant seem to work out the pattern
When it says miss one tr, does that miss only the treble or does it include the 2 chains that u have also made??? i cant figure it out….thanks

    • Hi Fiona. Which round are you talking about? In round 2, you are starting the ‘cross’ part of the pattern, so you basically end up with 4 corners, each with 3 treble, and 4 sides, each with 2ch, 1 tr, 2ch (missing a tr from the row below for each of the 2ch). I hope that makes sense! Cheers, Terri
