These three little bowls are destined for my dressing table. I thought they’d be nice to store my jewelry in.
They were meant to be identical, but in different sizes – not as easy as I thought!
I used Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Aran (10ply), and a 3.5mm hook. I wanted them to be quite firm, to hold themselves together. It sort of worked 😀
I’ve taken notes for a basic pattern. I can write it out if anyone is interested.
Moo just wanted you to know she’s enjoying her new cushions. She also wanted to show off her new Duck Wuck. I suggested she should remove the tag.
So she ate it.
The colours are wonderful and I think they are very cute. I won’t ask for the pattern because I am using all my time trying to finish the Granny Wheel Square blanket ASAP and haven’t even started your pin cushion yet. One day.
Very nice bowls, I would be interested in the pattern. I love the colours! And I love Moo 🙂
Moo is really beautiful and glossy looking. I really like the little bowls you’ve created so if you can post the instructions on your blog I’d be interested in giving it a go.thanks
I would love your bowl pattern! They look awesome to me!!! I love your pics of Moo! She looks so huggable! Bear has the same duck!! He carries it in his mouth and squeaks it at the same time he bats his ball to ke with his paw, so I call him my soccer dog!
These are adorable! I’d definitely love to give them a go if you wouldn’t mind sharing the pattern 🙂
The little bowls are nearly as beautiful as Moo, gorgeous colours you have chosen!
Love Moo’s duck – Ruby has a similar one but has now shredded the body just to find out what was making that strange quacking noise. Moo is very photogenic!

I have just found your blog and am enchanted with Moo! I, too, would like to crochet some little bowls for my bathroom, so if you’ve posted the pattern elsewhere, please direct me to them!
Hi Kim! I’m glad you like them, thankyou 🙂 Unfortunately I didn’t make a pattern, however they are all done in DC (UK term)… a flat circle till they were the size I wanted, then straight for a few, then a gradual decrease over each few rows to get the tops to come in a bit. I’m sorry, that’s not very exacting I know!
Oh, and another idea… Wink at A Creative Being has made these gorgeous baskets and generously shared the pattern. These might be a good substitute? http://crafts.tutsplus.com/tutorials/crochet-a-gorgeous-set-of-rainbow-nesting-baskets–craft-10477
