I do spend rather a lot of time choosing what bag to carry my crochet in. Of course, it depends where I’m going, what project I’m taking, and what I’m wearing… amongst other things!
When I saw this pattern at Crochet Camp, it was impossible to resist. Made of six granny squares (two big, four smaller), and a little of every stash-colour I have, it was always going to be a splendor of colour – and not necessarily matching colour either. 😀
As you can see from the photos, we’re getting another teeny tiny spoonful of spring. Fingers crossed we’ll get a little more substantial sun someday soon.
I hope you’re all having a wonderful Sunday. I’ve just spent a lovely hour at a local cafe with a friend, crochetting and chatting and eating carrot and zucchini cake. Life is good.
Love Terri and Moo xxx
I like that! but wont the crochet hook fall out?
Hmm, well, I hadn’t thought of that, but then I always carry my hooks, snips, needle, etc in their own little bag ~ so a bag within a bag.. .so I’m thinking all should be fine! 😀

Thankyou so much! 😀
Gorgeous. I, too, would worry my implements might fall out.
Thanks Felicity. I bag-within-a-bag for all the little bits and bobs does the trick!
Love this colourful bag, I always have a clear pencil case with a few essentials in if I am travelling with a project, hooks, wool needle, scissors, stitch markers and a tape measure, this way you are not scrabbling in the bottom of your bag to find stuff.
Thanks so much! Yes, I always carry a little bag of “goodies” too. It’s actually my hook bag, but it has a little extra pocket for needle, snips and tape measure.
A splendour of colours indeed. Gorgeous 🙂
Thanks so much Debra xx

Thanks so much Liza! Yes, I must admit I felt rather cheerful when I gave it it’s first “outing” to my crochet afternoon yesterday.
Your bag looks great, I love it! The colours work beautiful together, well done to you:)
Great colourful bag!
What a fantastic bag! I must admit I’ve seen other granny square bag patterns and none have floated my boat, but this one is really neat 🙂
